Another MAD night!

Me at last year's MADs with the giant red stag in the hotel lobby....No, I'm not sure why!

This time last year I was winging my way over to London for the Mad Blog Awards, dress and spanx packed, hair and makeup booked. It was all tremendously exciting -I even got a picture with Mylene Klass, and for the record, she's tiny!-and when I  won one of my categories, I was a little bit tipsy and a whole lot shocked.

This year things are different- the Mad Blogs are on tonight, but today my only plans include the school run and the laundry, with a wardrobe overhaul and clear out pencilled in for later. My hair is greasy, I've a cold sore on my upper lip and I'm sporting tracksuit bottoms and a stained t shirt- classy, eh!

But over a glass of wine later, I'll watch the live feed from the awards, and even though I'm pretty certain that this time I won't win (just keepin' it real, peeps) it will STILL be thrilling to see my name up there with all those brilliant bloggers.
So thank you so much for taking the time to vote for me all those months ago-it matters HUGELY to me that you did- and  from the comfort of my sofa, I'll let you know how it goes tonight. In the meantime, and just in case you missed it (Ha!) here's a little interview with Me, Myself and I.
