The Tesco man came yesterday and here's a little picture of our cereal haul. From experience, I'm guessing this lot'll see us through the next month or so. (Apparently the Tesco packers thought we were actually a hostel or a B&B, given the sheer volume...and that's only the cereal!)
What I didn't snap, but wish I had, was the swarming hoard of children who surrounded the table just before I took this picture. The older two had just come in from school, (and instantly begged for a bowl for their snack,) while the younger three simply perched themselves up on chairs, just to fully absorb this marvellous sight. Cereal nirvana, I suppose...
You've got to stop making those kids beg for food lol!
ReplyDeleteI know- it's just not on :-)
DeleteThe money you spend on cereal alone probably covers my weekly shop!!
ReplyDeleteI'd put money on it!
DeleteHa - love it! My friend had her Tesco order delivered recently and was embarrassed by the size of it so asked the delivery man if it was the biggest order he had. He said "No , the old peoples home down the road had a bit more!" ( They house over 25 residents - she has 4 children. ) Hmmmmm. Xxx
ReplyDeleteHaha love it! I can really identify With that!
DeleteHaha, that is one serious cereal addiction! My kids are cereal mad too! x
ReplyDeleteIt's a food group all of its own!
DeleteHaha, I love this. In our house the children tend to eat one kind of cereal at a time, refusing to eat any other type, until they completely sicken themselves of it. I'm sure you managed to save up plenty of codes to get the free "tip and sip" bowls - we had to get through six boxes of coco pops to get ours!!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes
Debbie
No! We didn't get them- what a waste!
Deletewow that is a whole load of cereal. My boys won't eat the stuff. They get toast of various varieties in the morning. I'm impressed x
ReplyDeleteIsn't that funny! Mine are a greedy lot- they'll eat the toast too....
