Heeding Nature's Call!

I was scrolling through photos of Anna for her birthday post when I came across this little gem of  Cormac as a baby that I just couldn't resist sharing. You KNOW what he's doing...there's no need to spell it out.
I showed this to him and unsurprisingly it was met with great hilarity, and unmistakeable pride-for in my experience, no one appreciates a bit of toilet humour more than an eight year old boy. (Except possibly that particular boy's brothers.)

A Jubilee Joke?

Scrolling through my inbox this morning, I stumbled across an email from Pampers, excitedly telling me all about their new, limited addition, Union Jack nappies, specially to mark the Queen's Jubilee. Well, as you can imagine, I was just about to run out, there and then to stock up, when I got to thinking...Surely this particular celebratory gesture is in slightly questionable taste? And what pray, does (the royal) Herself think of it all? Was she even consulted?  I mean, think about it, what our Luke produces with efficient regularity in his Pampers, is both impressively large, and eye wateringly malodorous. In a special Pampers Jubilee nappy, he would happily deposit this atop a Union Jack, once, more likely twice, a day. As an adult, this would undoubtably be viewed as a subversive political statement, yet in a 2 year old, it's a Jubilee celebration...so party on little dude! We are not amused. (Well maybe just a little bit!)
